Margin on domain names
This is something I have always wondered. NameCheap charges me like an. $.18 cent "ICANN fee." and another $10 and change for the actual domain name. What is the profit margin here. Surely they are making a dollar or so on each registration?
I understand that my purchase goes towards paying for expenses like website server costs and labor... but essentially what does a registrar actually make with each purchase?
