    Back at Odesk lol.

There might actually be a few proofreaders in the Warriors for Hire section. I wouldn't know who to recommend, never checked. They're probably out there though.

First of all I would recommened that you get your article over at iWriter.com instead of oDesk as they are so much cheaper and you get to view the article before you accept it.

As for proof reading for punctuation etc you should go over to Fiverr.com for that. You can get someone to proof read 2000 words for $5.. Thats 4 x 500 word articles

Here is a guy doing it and he has excellent reviews..
Revlac will proofread any document, article or essay up to 2000 words for $5, only on fiverr.com

Wouldn't it be much easier just to find a more competent writer?

That way, you wouldn't have to outsource twice or pay twice as well as not having twice the wait time for the final piece.

The proverbial idiom, kill two birds with one stone, seems valid here, don't you think?

Exactly! If I were you, I'd have your writer make the corrections. After all, he's the one who screwed up. Then, make sure you never hire that writer again so that you don't have a repeat of this problem.

Next time, look for a writer who's good enough to give you content that can be published as-is. Had you done that this time, your articles would be published and generating results by now!

I'd ask the writer, too. But if that doesn't work, there are proofreading services around. If you read the threads in this forum with the word "writing" in their titles (search function), I think you'll find one or two members' sig-files offering proofreading.

Tip for next time: make sure that "EZA acceptance" is a money-back condition of sale (that's a standard part of an article-writing agreement, and any reasonably decent writer will agree to it with no problem at all. You may have to pay a little bit more for it, but that way you get a "reasonably decent writer", and don't end up needing to employ a proofreader separately).

I tried iWriter several times, but everytime I got article which didn't pass copyscape. My experience says for articles you should not compromise with price.

Hey Brandon...it goes to the old idiom of "you get what you pay for." I'd bet you a free article from my company that you went for the lowest bidder on your job and didn't get any samples first.

    Am I right?

You have three choices when it comes to content:

Choice 1 - Write it yourself. For you I don't believe this is an option because I see 5 mistakes in your original post. No offense, I just call it like I see it.

Choice 2 - Pay #### wages, get #### content. You tried this option.

Choice 3 - Find a writer who has great reviews and no complaints, costs a little more than what you've found in the past, and will give you a what you're asking for the first time and fairly quickly.

Choice 3 is the winning choice for all of those who didn't figure it out. If you don't understand why, ask me, and I'll link you to a bunch of stuff about how Google value quality of garbage, including the official Google blog. If you don't want to wait for me to answer, you can read this and learn about it now.
