Has anybody tried the "Amz link localizer" plugin from Gaz Cooper?

I signed up to Amazon US but I also get a traffic from other English spoken countries like UK,Canada, Australia etc... I want to get credit for them as well.
There is a free Amazon link localizer but it's reported by many people that it doesn't work properly.
There is also a paid plugin created by Gaz Cooper. Gaz sells this plugin for $27.
I wonder if anybody here has used this plugin.
Does it really work?
What are your results?

Im researching the same thing and also am curious.

What would be really cool is if I could change images (any image) based on Geo location.

I have a cool looking amazon.com logo on my site, and it displays amazon.com in the image..Id like to have multiple images for each country, instead of the flag option offered by Gaz Cooper.

My other alternative would be to change the image and display WorldWide Amazon and not even show the .com

Wait... You only get paid if they come from your region? So if I'm in Canada I will only get paid for people clicking from Canada?

This is correct Vlad, if all your links are from Amazon.ca then you will only be credited with sales from Canadians.

If you want to target other countries you will need to have an Amazon account in those countries, i.e. USA,UK,Germany etc, in addition the Amazon accounts your apply for will be in the language of that country, i.e. Japanese, you can use a translation tool but it is best to have two applications open, one English one foreign it then becomes easier to fill in the application fields.

I have used and continue to use a link localizer, but it does not seem to generate many sales. I prefer to target the US only Amazon.com, it makes life a lot simpler and you know the people and the market is there.

If you want to use other buy now links on your page, I suggest a flag for the country a visitor can click on.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Not true. People from all over the world can buy through your link and you get the commission. I live in Finland and have bought many times from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. However, some sellers won't ship overseas and also some customers are probably more likely to buy from Amazon of their own country (if there is one) and therefore link localizers are useful.

OP, why not hit up Gaz himself and ask him your questions. He may even let you see the training and setup videos for this. He won't bite

I have watched them and know it is a pretty good link localizer. It will search the other Amazon's for your given product asin and replace like for like from each country.

When there isn't a product on the other Amazon sites, it will default say to the US link. But you can still go manually to each Amazon site and add the product you wish to target on their site and add it into your plugin.

Gaz's training videos show this all in action.

    Hope this helps.

I have already asked Gaz about it and he provided me with the link going to training videos.
I opened this thread because I also need objective reviews on the product.
Gaz, as the owner of the product, can't say "Hey,don't buy my product. It is not working" right?

        Hey Everyone

This plugin is very in depth and does quite a lot in fact I went overboard on the features and its jsut too much for some people as it takes time to actually master it.

So what i decided to so was actually offer it back to front and am happy to provide you the link to the 9 training videos that run you through the Massive features of this plugin, that way you can check it out first and if you feel it something you can use and have the time to follow the training then you can purchase it .

Just PM me for the link to the training videos

        Kickin it on Amazon
