Could this be a good WSO?

I've been thinking about doing a WSO and was curious if you guys thought it would be good. It's basically a step by step (with tons of pictures) guide to designing a website without any coding knowledge, getting your first domain name, domain email and tons of other things from using Paypal to the basics on marketing it. I've been working on it for a while now, and I already have a ton of information. I'm going to work on it for the next month or so. I want it to be extremely thorough. So what do you guys think? Will it sell?

Read the Think and Grow Rich. Here are 2 quotes from that book.

    1. Tell the world what you intend to do, but first show it!
    2. Opinions are the cheapest commodity on earth.

There are millions of product that show how to build a website, BUT if you are ready to invest into sales copy and charge a small fee, I think you can sell quite a few copies. People tend to buy anything if it's cheap.

Edit: What I meant to say is: "Just do it!"
I am working on my first two different WSOs and I know one is unique and the other is simply the best software in it's niche, but I am still scared to launch it. However I am already commited to launch both.

Here's a quote that's going to score you a beter return and security:

"Make a product, not a WSO".

A WSO is only one channel of selling. If you're confident that your software is the best in it's niche it deserves more exposure than the WF alone will allow.

There's a plethora of similar information online already. In fact, it's overkill. I can't think of anyone that's such an utter newbie on here that they would be completely ignorant of ALL you mention. The fact they are on WF means they have some knowledge, however limited.

That's not to say that broken down into manageable chunks - for each element - that the information would not be useful if targeted correctly offline . . . perhaps a small book, or ebook marketed in the right places such as classifieds (Gumtree, CL, etc). I just don't see any point in a WSO. You'd almost certainly be wasting your $$$.

    Good luck.

Thanks, this is why I asked.

This is more intended to show someone how to build a website for internet marketing purposes, so it's not just building a website, but it also gives you a ton of ways to add to your website, like adding buttons, contact forms, using different email lists, Paypal and anything else I can think about. I really want it to be an extremely useful guide to mostly everything on web design around IM (using certain sites of course, since it's a how to without using coding). I only plan to charge around $5 for it.

What makes it different from what I can watch on YouTube or find with a quick Google search? If you can make it worth the $5 you're talking about, then it's definitely worth it.

If not...what can you do to make it worthwhile?

I've seen things about how to make a good squeeze page or landing page alone. It will include many things on how to set up a site as well. I want it to be a really good catch all. Even if someone could find each thing online, they wouldn't know to search for it. I want to give people some things they didn't know was even out there to learn. That's my goal at least.

The fact that someone can have the solution in a compact video course and/or .pdf in my opinion...and easily revert back to it all in one central location.

        If you can help people:

        1. Make money
        2. Save Money
        3. Save time

Then you at least have the potential for a quality product that people will buy. Seems this product fits mostly in the #3 category (because you are teaching them as opposed to them having to figure it out themselves...even though they probably could) because you are saving people time.

It may not set the world on fire, but for $5 bucks I can see this product having value.

I would say you must go on and create the WSO because although there are WSO similar to your concept but each and everyday new members are signing up . So as a seller point of view the concept is good and many willl buy the WSO for sure.

Would agree that it is good to move forward though make sure you offer something unique, or target a certain area of web development.

If you are selling it for $5.00, I think you would have newbies like myself interested. What seems so basic for some, is still a foreign language to others.
