Pinterest? Is it Worth The Hassle?

I'm not yet sold on the value of pinterest and alot of you probably aren't either because I hardly ever see a post about it. Do you guys think pinterest has any staying power? Or it just a fad?

    I like Pinterest and it works for me. I think its great since its mainly women. Women in my opinion buy the most and have impose buys online. As for a fad, ehhh it could be.

    I also just joined BO.LT its a Pinterest knock off, with a few slightly different things. I joined that one a few days ago. But since BO.LT is new, they have been having maintenance problems. I am not sure how far they will go, but I figured I might as well start building it up.

    I just got started on pinterest and for the reason stated above me...mainly women and in my opinion also women do more buying and impulse buying online...

    I posted 6 months ago I wasn't going to "sell" anyone on Pinterest. Sure is an odd thing about this place. So many posts that say "Prove IT!"

    There is nothing to prove. It's the best referrer on the internet as of today. End of story

    Im only getting good results (if any) from the actual backlinks.

    I think a good strategy is to create an account, then add all your images/backlinks in one shot instead of spending too much time there. So at least wait until you have 20 new images to upload before bothering.
