Hurting Warriors, and How To Discover Content on This Forum

I was just doing some searching for some info here on the warriorforum and found exactly what I was looking for, plus a few really cool gems that I wasn't expecting. (top secret so don't ask :rolleyes

Then I thought about how easy it is to find stuff here, yet so many people ask questions that have already been answered in great detail.

We all know that one of the best ways to learn is to ask good questions, but it's also important to know where to ask those questions, many of which can be answered without asking them at all.

Notice the tags linked to at the bottom left of this page below? It's in the strip labeled "Tags" (whoda thinkit!)

Click on those words and you'll be taken to a list of forum search results with titles containing the words.

If you'd like to spy on that word over time, just bookmark the page and check back on it now and then to find any new posts mentioning it.

And rather than looking through posts trying to find the tags you're looking for, simply change the url in your address bar and replace the word before .html with the word you're interested in finding posts on.

And with that said, since this post is going to show all 100,000+ forum members how to use tags to find stuff when you start a new thread from now on, use the "Tags" field below the post writing box to tag your posts with keywords you'd like your posts to be found under so you don't end up having your posts tagged like this:

    LOL ed, "stud tags"?? C'mon...

Great tip though really, thank you!

Another thing to keep in mind with tags in your posts is the SEO benefit. I believe WF posts show up in the serps quite a bit, the tags must carry some SEO benefit if used properly.
