No bank provides debit card that you can with Paypal. You'll need a credit card to make payments via Paypal.

Or else, you can open a savings account with HDFC, (10k min balance), activate internet banking, you can the create VCC (Virtual Credit Card) that you can use with Paypal.

The other option is make a fixed deposit if certain amount and ask the bank for a credit card against fixed deposit.

You can find more info on internet. Just Google it!

If you want to verify your account, you can do that by adding a Bank Account also. They will deposit 2 small amounts in your bank, you just need to confirm those amounts and your account will be verified.

Else use VCC through HDFC or ICICI Bank. It will work also.

For Purchase you need to link your credit card with your PayPal account.

None of the debit cards can be attached with paypal.
All you gotta do is just give Rs.25000 or more to HDFC or ICICI and ask them for Credit card against that fixed deposit.
Thats alll u can send money by using that credit card.

        Hey,

Why don't you ask for credit card from your bank?
I have CC from Hdfc, Citibank, Barclay, Standard Chartered and AMEX (this one is highest value). I only have bank account in HDFC bank. And all cards are FD free, none of them asked for FD.

If you have some old bank account under your name (preferably HDFC) just give them a call and they'll arrange your CC asap.

        Thanks,
        Carson
