Ad Targeting...Your opinion is appreciated

For those of you who have experience (or data) to give an opinion, I was wondering what country or countries you feel have the best converting consumers for MMO digital products.
F0r example, I can get people to sign up for my email list and the cheapest countries to get those sign ups are those where english is not the primary language such as India, Indonesia or the Phillipines. WHat I am trying to determine whether it is worth the extra expense to target subscribers in the US, UK Australia etc.
Does anyone have any statistics (or firm beliefs) as to what countries spend the most on MMO type products?

    I go worldwide with any advertising for my gaming site. I use adf.ly for sign-ups.

      I also use worldwide when I use adf.ly. 90% who sign up are from non-english s[peaking countries. I haven't been able to convert any of these people to buyers.
      I was wondering if targeting english speaking countries (whether adwords or any of the other PPC sites or other forms of advertising) might be worth the extra cost if they convert better.

    It is worth the extra expense to pay for the English speaking countries. I do not have any stats, but seems like they converted better for me.
