Affiliate marketing - DO you disclose that the links are affiliate links in every email?

Hey everyone

I came across an article today regarding new Federal trade commission guidelines coming out soon, that lays down certain rules for email marketing among others. The article is here -http://mikeyounglaw.com/affiliate-email-disclosure-language/


Do you include a disclaimer as standard in any emails you send to a list in case you are promoting a product as an affiliate? It also needs to be included in re-branded pdf documents as well.

I have to say, I haven't seen any such disclaimer in emails I have received from affiliates before. Or maybe I am missing something? Would you recommend adding a few words in the signature part of the email?

    Yes, I do - as follows at the base of any email after the section that shows the subscription details that have been recorded.

    Yup. Absolutely. Or... sell my own products and avoid all of this.
