How Do I Remove "This Site May Be Compromised" On Two Of My Sites

Please house, i am currently facing the above topic challenge on two of my wordpress sites (myyorubamovie.com and extralongshowercurtains.org)

I have discovered the spammy links which contain e.g viagra, pharma, drugs e.t.c on both sites by using the search operator site: and then click on the cached.

The help i really need is the LAYMAN step by step i need to take to remove these links on the affected pages of my websites which will lead to google removing the warning from my sites in the SERP and also how to forestall future occurrence.

Thank.

    I got something similar recently.

First run 2 different antivirus programs through your computer as it could have been effected that way thenchange hosting passwords and passwords for these sites.

Lastly the easiest and best thing to do is contact your hosting support through live chat as it is in their interests to keep their servers clean.

I did this through hostgator and they couldn't be more helpful.

Finally login to google webmaster and request another scan of your site this will remove the notice if clean.

    Hope this helps

    Peter

P.S. you should remove your sites from the thread with the fear of infecting other warriors.

You definitely have a problem, Google is saying the site may be compromised in the SERP.

You need to clean up any offending code or issues, then you need to go into Google Webmaster Tools and register the site with them. They usually want you to add some code to the header to prove you are the owner.

This has happened to us a number of times. It's a pain, but once you register it and clean it up, they usually take the warning off in a day or two. Instructions here:

The sites are Google Webmaster verified but in the webmasters dashboard i did not see any warning message. Though i have been reading online that for this kind of issue, one won't receive any message in the webmasters unlike when the problem is "This Site May Harm Your Computer" Message.

Anyway, like i said in the opening post, i have detected those spammy links through site: operator search, they are in hundreds on various pages of the sites.

I really need the actual steps to remove them and thereafter re-submit to Google.

      Thanks.

I hope help will come my way, even my hosting company don't have clues about this. They are confusing it for "This Site May Harm Your Computer" which is the google alert message when a site is infected with malware, virus or trojan.

Unfortunately the problem is the injection of hundreds of spam links in my sites and from my observation since i have started searching for solution online it seems the problem is not common, so the solution is rear but i have resolved to get my sites clean of the spam links.

So i need as many as possible suggestions, tips, guide and piece of advice.

          Thanks.

Did you get your hosting to scan your site?

Just cause you don't think it is malware or virus does not mean you are right, maybe they have created a backdoor to come and go as they please.

Did you shut off all comments?

Yes they did scan the sites and they didn't find any thing.

In the first site the comment is on while on the second one is shut.

      Thanks.

I went all around the internet looking for an answer to this
    I ended back here
First I installed 3 plugins on my blog they were worthless
I used every tool you could imagine to detect what the problem was (even googles own see as google does dont detect a problem)
    If you go
    site:myyorubamovie.com (pharmacy|cialis|viagra|sex|porn|cheap|ringtones|c asino)
    You will see the problem
I took my blog apart right down to the file level
I downloaded it and scanned it with my anti virus
    So frustraiting
I eventually gave up and paid the experts $89
Now I am scanned for 1 year
