Review My Squeeze Page Please!

I am very close to sending some Solo's to this Squeeze Page, just needing to know if there are any tweaks I need to make in it.

This will be the first list in this niche for me and I want to make sure that it is good to go!

Thanks

It's all set to go except a picture at the bottom isn't showing up. Except for that, it is a highly responsive squeezepage just the way it is written. It got my attention.

    1. It's a little too busy for my liking. I would just keep a nice simple red headline and a black subhead with an optin box.

    2. The optin form is a little too low on the page. The higher the better.

    3. The optin forms does not stand out enough. At the very least I would add an animated red arrow pointing down to the optin form to give it that extra presence.

    4. I would only ask for the subscribers email address. There's no need for names these days. Asking for their name will only serve to decrease your optin rate.

    5. In the headline I would not say 'near 80% Conversion Rate'. Specific numbers look much more genuine and work much better. I also wouldn't use the word 'Learn' because learning usually implies hard work. A better word is 'Discover' or in this case, 'Download'. I'm also not sure the '22 Year Old College Dropout' thing adds any value to the headline at all. I also would not use the word 'Spam' under the optin box because although you are saying they will not receive spam, by using the word you have now reminded them of what could happen by giving away their email address.

So I would instead say something like...

    =======================================

"Download the Simple Squeeze Page Template
That Converts at 78.4% Every Time..."

Get rid of everything else on the page. Just keep it nice and simple.

If I came across that squeeze page above I would find it hard not to at least check out the squeeze page.

I think you will get a lot more help if you post this topic in the Copywriting Forum.

A lot of experienced warriors there that are ready to critique your squeeze page.

      Hope this helps

Well, Everything is pretty much great, I really like that you focus on your bullet points..

However, I think the squeeze page is too short, not convincing enough.

A squeeze page is very similar to a sales page, so if you can try to make it longer and add more bullet points, to have a 50%+ converting squeeze page you must convince the reader to get your freebie!

Hope I helped ya, do what I told you and you will have a high conversion rate!

I'm not sure what squeeze page you are looking at since there are no bullet points.

I disagree. A squeeze page or sales page should only be long enough to get the important information across to the user. On a simple squeeze page like this, if done properly, the headline and subheadline should do that job sufficiently -- especially when the freebie given away is just the one thing, a squeeze page template.

Add too much unnecessary information and you will end up decreasing conversions. No page, whether a squeeze page or sales page has to be long. It only has to be long enough to convey the information it needs to convey... no longer.

"Download Now" opt-in submit button looks off center to me. but good job though. Good advice above.

Agree with the comments above. My 2 cents:

    1. I find the pre-headline: "Attention: In the next 60 seconds you will," distracting and do not believe it adds anything. Would suggest that you split test with it removed or add some scarcity (i.e. Only 52 templates available for download today).

    2. As mentioned before by WillR and others, the optin box does not stand out. Try framing it in a box to make it standout. Also add an oversized "Get Instant Access" button.

    3. In the call to action "fill in your name and email" try changing "my template" to "YOUR template".
    4. The comma after "simple" in the headline whilst grammatically correct interrupts my reading of the sentence. Try split testing without it.

    All the best

    Luke
