Building Your List In The IM Niche

I already have around 3,000 subscribers in the IM niche, but now I'm struggling with ideas to help grow this.

It seems that certain techniques don't work as well in the IM niche. Things like article marketing aren't as effective - most of my IM articles on EZA usually get 30-40 visitors. I've had a little play with Adwords in the IM niche but struggle to get more than five or six clicks per day and at quite a high price. Ranking in the search engines is much more difficult for 'make money' keywords, so SEO isn't really effective either.

Using affiliates to build your list can also be effective, but I don't have a product on the back-end that I can pay comissions for.

The only methods I think are realy effective that I can utilise is ad swaps, and contacting blog and website owners asking if I can contribute an article in exchange for a link back.

So, what methods are you using to build your IM lists? What are the most effective techniques?

    Hey,

    I have a list of around 500 subscribers if your interested i would do an ad swap let me know.

    But have you ever tried giveaways? You can build you list by a couple of hundred people ever giveaway if you approach them correctly.

    Yep, I tried free giveaways in my early days, but didn't think much of the subscribers I got, plus giveaways have lost their effectiveness in recent years.

      A lot of people think they have but its just because they don't no how to take advantage of them.
