Advise Please

Hi All,

Strange one this...i'm promoting a popular product in the dating niche, and it all started out swell...first 3 days i had 7 articles up on EZA with 2 sales for $52 from approximately 135 hops - great start in a new niche for me. Here's the kicker though; last 4 days have had 386 hops and 0 sales...yes you read that right, ZERO SALES!

The method i used from day 1 here was to use a domain redirect to the publishers site, just to see if it would work out for me in this niche prior to setting my own site up and disconnecting the redirect to the publisher.

I've read the recent posts by some esteemed Warriors regarding CB's beta tracking system and alleged not crediting affiliates for sales, and was wondering if that could be the case here with me? Or, is it bad policy to redirect directly to the publishers site and i should set up my own site now?

Advice, views remarks would be gladly received and gratefully accepted.

I haven't had a lot of luck with going directly to the publisher site - but I see many people doing it so it obviously works for some types of promotions and in certain niches.

I prefer to have some kind of page up even if it is simple and just gives a short review of the product.

Your stats with so many hops and no sales is a bit fishy - but it is true that CB tracking can be strange so I wouldn't get too upset about it unless you continue to throw hops their way and see no sales.
