How to Offer Freebie Along with My EBook When It's On Amazon As Well?
I'm strongly considering adding a free ebook along with the purchase of the main ebook product that I'm selling.
My concern, is that my book is available on Amazon and Smashwords, and other places online.
Other than adding the contents of the "free" ebook onto the end of the version of the book that I'm selling at Amazon, Smashwords, etc., how else can I go about offering the additional free content I'm offering along with the book at my own site?
I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it's in the rules for most ebook retailers that you can't offer your book anywhere else for cheaper than what you're selling it for with them.
If that's the case, I thought that offering a free product along with the ebook at my own site, and not offering it at Amazon, might violate this rule they have in place.
I understand that I have a ways to go, and many books to sell, before I'd make enough revenue to cause any kind of alarm at a huge retailer like Amazon, but I just wanted to cover my bases and be proactive on this concern.
Should I just not worry about it, and sell the ebook by itself at the other retailers, while offering the free bonus product at my own site?
