Free Shopping Cart for WordPress?

Hey I am going to be selling an ebook but have no idea how to actually "set it up for sale". I know I need a shopping cart and a payment processor. I'm going to use PayPal for the payment processing. What kind of shopping cart can I set up in WP? I researched Prestashop but it seemed really complicated, only certain themes were compatible with it, etc. I know there are a lot of other free shopping carts out there. I also saw threads about this when I searched, but I wanted to make a thread specifically about integrating a shopping cart with WordPress.

FatFreeCart - Free shopping cart for Google Checkout and PayPal
PrestaShop Demo - Learn how to start an online store

So many options. I'm not sure how easy each one is to integrate with WP, though. FatFree cart looks EXTREMELY simple. But then again the appearance is kind of outdated... What do you guys think?

eshop plugin for wordpress is great!

Easy to scale up and add all those other products you want to add.

On the paid side of things I Like Sales buddy and the addons, allows affiliate sales etc.

If you don't want to do all that, simply go to jvzoo.com sign up as a seller and use their systems. That takes a lot of hassle out of the equation.
All you need to is paste in a button and they do the rest, fees are minimal and you get access to affiliates straight away. Its also FREE to list a product so you don't pay until you sell something.

    Hope that helps

there are plenty of shopping cart plugins for wordpress. WooThemes has a cart plugin that is nice and easy to setup, so is WP e-Commerce. Search google for "shopping cart plugin wordpress" and you'll find a ton.

If you're using PayPal with one ebook, you may want to look at creating a PayPal buy button to place in your site.

It may be easier that configuring a cart.

I recently went through a process of trying various ecommerce WP plugins for my wife's online shop.

I tried WP e-Commerce, Jigoshop, Shopp, eShop and a couple of others.

In the end, I went with WooCommerce because it was the easiest to implement, it was well documented and supported and it has lots of great addon modules.

I GUESS I DONT NEED A SHOPPING CART. I've been researching the wrong stuff! I'm just selling one eBook, so I guess I need to set up an order button. Can customers pay me through PayPal if they don't have an account? (just by paying with a credit card)

If you have a PayPal business account you should be able to set it up so non-PayPal can use credit cards.

I have used prestashop and they work great.
But I think you will find a lot of good alternatives on the thread too.
