Is there a way to check how many hits an inner page of a website has recieved?

Hey warriors,

I need help with this one.

A certain client has recently launched a new product. It has been featured on a couple of blogs and news sites.

I want to know if there is a way that I can find out how many hits those particular pages in those websites have recieved.

I have already tried Alexa, Compete, Quantcast, ebizinformation, domainpop, google analytics and the other usual suspects.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks in advance.

Google Analytics can show hits on internal pages.

      Hi,

If you haven't setup the google analytics into your website. than you should setup & you can monitor there each and every visitors to your pages, keywords etc.

Maybe I have been unclear about my requirements.

Yes, G Analytics can track internal hits on "MY" own site, but can it track hits on a site NOT owned by me? that is what I wanted to know.

For eg. How would I know how many hits "One" particular comic from XKCD has recieved. Any ideas?

Impossible, unless they install a tracker open for public view.

Google analytic can offer you many kinds of site information, maybe not accurate but a nice reference.

You cannot track hits on somebody elses site. Alexa and some other services give you estimates of traffic volume and that's the best you're gonna get.
