Search out support groups and convince them that the book is good enough to be the foundation of their program. It shouldn't be too hard a sell if the information actually works, all you'll have to do is prove it.

      Is it any good?

I'd recommend contacting gambling support groups and forums to sell directly/advertise... but only if it's any good. Through previous work I've encountered many people who's lives were ruined by gambling addictions. Without making any presumptions, please ensure your product is decent.

Contacting a gambling support forum and offering your book for free to get honest feedback from your target market could prove very helpful.

Where are you getting the information from for your eBook?

Is the information accurate and above all else useful to those that will read it?

You need to make sure of this. Addiction is a serious subject and misinformation can have devastating consequences.

Best way round to do this is to find the market first, then create the product relevant to it that discusses and answers the main problems your potential market is struggling with. Without doing the market research before writing your ebook, you'll struggle to pinpoint the buying market.

By doing the research, you locate the market and get an idea of what sells in the market and how and where it sells. It is the same for any market, not specific to gambling problems.

In the lobby of a Casino, just look for people lingering around the coffee machine!

This isn't too far from what I am going to recommend.

Contacting the support groups and such is one way to do it, but in that case you would be marketing to people who have already admitted the problem and sought help publicly.

There's another group - those who know or suspect they might have a problem, but aren't ready to seek help from a group. Many of those people will start with a DIY approach, and those people could be a good market.

Many gambling venues - casinos, horse tracks, lotto ticket vendors - are required to provide access to resources related to gambling addiction. Most just link or provide a phone number to Gamblers Anonymous.

Perhaps you could convince some of the venues, and the online gambling sites, to become affiliates for your ebook. That way, they fulfill the legal requirement and have a chance to make a little money on customers they're likely to lose anyway.

@Chri5123, the folks you want aren't huddled around the coffee machine. You want the ones lined up at the ATM...

I'm feeling this may prove to be a tougher sell than you think. Addiction recovery starts with admitting to the disease, which many are not ready to do. All the above suggestions are good, but I would try to budget some dollars for PPC and test different offers. See what is pulling visitors and whats not. Al the places you list in your post are good, but they still need targeted traffic.

Are there any ebooks on Kindle and Ebay about beating gambling addiction? Do they allow such a product on their site?
