I will appreciate any comments, suggestions, material to read and understand well how this really works, the cpp, the cpa, ppc, convert, conversion, and all that term, you marketer use in this area of marketing.

thanks

I am sure someone can sell you some crap about this, so here's the spoiler:

Actually, before this, what are you doing? Sending to your site? fan page?

You can target the heck out of FB. Do you have your target audience? Is the audience teenage kids or the moms that buy for their kids? Strategy begins with knowing who are the decision makers and what incentive they have after you bring them onto your destination. Is it a phone call? an email? ecom sale? (if you are asking about ecom sale and u dont know what this are of marketing is referred to, run.. run away now)

If you are not familiar with cpa, conversions and what not, google search "adwords" on youtube for the proper lingo. Only thing different about FB is the targeting and the fact that they are doing push marketing as oppose pull.

Stick with a CPC and price it 20-30% whatever they suggest. (I havent tried this with fanpages, so i assume traffic is alot cheaper because it is kept onsite compared to an aff link)

Teen traffic is cheap because they dont click, so pay for clicks only.

The larger fmcg companies drive to fanpages which is something I personally understand (use to work for one). You can target "people that are friends of your fanpage" to get the most out of a "word of mouth" effect.

    boom, done.
