need suggestions about new online projects

Dear WF Members,

I need a suggestion I have been working on on blogger and word press free blogs and they are not much of a profit for me like its not working cant get traffic to it. But now I think I should go for a domain name ? But the only question that is coming to my mind . 1. will it be helpful for me ? 2, how it will be help ful for me? 3. and can I get on track with it ?
I wrote some articles on word press and blogger and then went through different channels to monetize it but it didn't worked.

Need your valuable suggestions and advices. And if somebody really wants to help me tell me and I will PM you but please don't me a go round I need your sincere advices and suggestions.

    Well.

    If you want to monetize your WP blog there are factors you must check first.

    1. Is your blog being read? You need traffic, people how want to get the information you're providing.
    2. Does your blog appear on google? When people searches for your keywords, is important to appear on the first page of google.

    Buying a domain name can help to give your blog some credibility, and also you could sell it whenever you want (for example, at a point when you get high traffic & your blog is on top of google result pages for your keywords).

    A good way to run traffic to your blog is by suggesting it to friends. Try also signing up on forums related to your topic and make sure to create a signature with your blog URL, so when you post a reply on a thread, it can be seen by people (and believe me or not this people is the kind of visitors you want, as they're targeted by niche & language).

      Hi,

      I think you're going about it the wrong way.

      So I'm assuming you've written some posts on wordpress blogz and blogger, and you're wondering why you're not making any money ?

      This really depends. You say you don't have traffic and you've tried to monetize your blog without success.

      So I have a few questions for you.

      Who is your target audience ?
      How long have you been blogging ?
      What do you expect to earn ?
      How much traffic do you need to earn that much ? How much of that traffic needs to convert ?
      What is your monetization plans ? Affiliate products ? Cost Per Action offers ? Joint Ventures ? Your own products ?

      I think you really need to sit down and think of this as a business and know what action steps you need to take to get there. Too many people jump from one strategy to the next.

      You need to ask your self this...

      What Do I need to do now to further my goals ?

      In this case it might be :

      Find out who my target market is (Audience)
      How can I get an audience ? (Building a List ? Developing a following on my blog ? (maybe youtube video series ? )
      What monetization models will I be using and why
