How Big Should Clickbank Hop-to-conversion Rate Be?

I'm a beginner internet marketer and I've been marketing fitness information products from Clickbank for some months now. I've sent over 500 hops over the products I promote, but only 9 of them have gotten even an order form impression, and none of those have actually bought.

Is this low conversion rate normal? What kind of rate I could realistically expect?

    It probably isn't, really. 9 order-form impressions from 500 hops is very low, however you look at it. As indeed is 0 sales, if they're your subscribers.

    It's enormously variable, according to such parameters as the traffic source, how much pre-selling you've done, whether they're list subscribers, what kind of relationship you have with them, whether you've established a trust-based relationship, and so on. So it's really difficult to give estimates without knowing any of that.

    But if it's originally SEO traffic, and if you haven't opted them in to a list and pre-sold by building a relationship with them, so that they come to trust your recommendation, then it may be normal.

    (Whether the product's sales page has any leaks may also be a relevant factor here).

    Thanks for your answer. They are not my subscribers, merely optimized search-engine traffic. While I do pre-selling on my pages before sending them to the affiliate link, given that I'm a beginner it's probably not that great yet.

    I'll look to improve my pre-selling and to continue building my list. Thanks for your advice.

    that's a FAR better conversion rate than most people will get on CB

    Sure, some people aremaking big money, but most are making nothing there.

    If you are getting those kinds of results, just send more traffic at it, and you'll eventually get sales, or find a way to send more targetted traffic, pre-sell better, or find a better products to sell
