Mozilla Stopping Further Development of Thunderbird?

So, That’s It For Thunderbird | TechCrunch

Thunderbird has become a pretty decent email client, though I've never been able to wean myself away from Outlook. Still, lots of people use Thunderbird as a good free alternative.

    I use Thunderbird.

Before that, I used Netscape Mail.

Netscape stopped development of the email client years ago, so even with Thunderbird, I am still on newer software than Netscape.

Back in the old days I used to use Outlook and Norton which was the perfect combination for downloading and installing viruses on your computer. Outlook would execute the code and Norton would announce "You've got virus. This was back when Norton was not an antivirus as much as it was software that notified you when you successfully got a virus. This was back in the days when Outlook simply ran rogue code the minute the email was previewed. This was back in the days of windows ME the worst version of Windows ever to walk the earth.

Because of this I switched to Thunderbird and Nod32 back in 2002. My online business was brand new. I have been a Thunderbird user ever since.

    Oh the nostalgia.
