Is It Cool To Recruit Affiliates With Your Sig?

I searched the forum and didn't find anything. I just listed my first product on Jvzoo and wonder if I can recruit possible affiliates with my sig.

Is this considered bad form?

Thanks.

Brent

Yes, that is allowed. Just don't refer to your sig when you post. "Hey, look at my sig" is bad form.

Yes you can actually do that and its not considered a bad form if you recruit affiliates with your sig,
The bad form is only when you use affiliate link of some other product, directly in your signature.

          Hello RogueOne,

I understand that you want/need to write nothing but the best signature that can attract mouse-clicks. That's everyone's goal (at least, that's the majority's goal).

There's really no such thing as a universally accepted 'best' thing. What can be an eye catching signature to me may be the most ridiculous signature my fellow has ever seen, and vice versa.

I would recommend you to pitch in a sentence or two that will make the reader think/say, 'If this is what can be seen there, I wonder how many have visited that site already. I don't want to take the left-overs!'

What is your game niche all about? Let us know so we can help you Warrior to Warrior.

It's Gears Of War 3. "Discover How To DOMINATE Gears Of War 3 Like A PRO With A COMPLETE Campaign Walkthrough & Multiplayer Guide!"

It's the only complete, comprehensive guide currently available for GOW3.

There's a lot of search for various keywords, so the niche is pretty wide open still.

            Thanks for your reply.

              Hello RogueOne,

You can put that one on your signature and insert a link that will connect the reader to your page.

      Hello Jaiganeshv,

The OP can test it. He may come up with 2 types of sigs. Test the first one on the first 1 to 2 weeks. Test the second one on the 3rd and 4th week. Whichever converts well, that could be his permanent signature.

Not at all. I've seen it around the forum plenty of times and even I've done it. I think it's a good way to recruit affiliates since this is a marketing forum. One thing to consider too if you haven't already, is to make a list for affiliates only. Have an opt in box on your affiliates page or even have a whole domain dedicated to your affiliates, then let them know when you got a product brewing.

  • Check out my signature I recruit affiliates for JV's got a few already so it works, but wouldn't make that my primary source it's that I'm here already every few days might as well pick up some affiliates while at it. Good luck.

If you are directly recruiting affiliates for whatever you are doing, I would not directly do it in the signature, but what I would do is offer information in your signature such as a link to a blog or a giveaway page. That will show that you are offering value and it is a good test of YOU which people always like. People want to know that they are following somebody that has value and can help their business. It is as simple as that. Me, I link to my blog in my signature.

Yeah, you are allowed to do that. But for promoting other affiliate products you should go and make your own website and then link them in.
