Hey forum users,

I have been doing IM for about 3 years now, but never saw a huge return on it. Then again ive mainly been too afraid to really try after feeling scammed so much. Aside from that, I was thinking about buying a clickbank video product that will teach users how to build a webpage with wordpress and monetize it properly. I believe the site looks great and has a lot of features that a successful clickbank site would.

My question is, are video products still in demand or am I wasting my time. Do i need to look into something more serious. I want to finally make a decent living off IM. Im not a lazy person and dont mind doing work, but affiliate sales would be nice to help pay off some debt.

I'd like to hear your feedback and possibly even show you what I am thinking about purchasing.

I have no experince on making money with videos. But one thing I do know is that most top earners do not make their money from one single source. They sell products, do coaching, earn from advertising, provide services etc.

You don't need to give up IM. And since you say you are not lazy, why don't you take 3-4 hours daily doing research on how people make money online? I am sure there are countless threads here on this forum that can guide.

Finally, I also need to tell you that what you seem to call wasting of time is really the learning process that is required to hone your skills in IM. That's what is called testing. In the corporate world they call it R& D.

This is what the truth is like. Never give up and always diversify. That is the way to success.

This is the post that says it all really. I think you sound to me like you're not being focussed enough on what you want to achieve and what your strengths are, thus you are now looking into videos.
I would say stop buying things and trying to make money from them but spend some time think where am i strong, for example are you a creative writer in which case maybe try and advertise your services somewhere for article writing etc.

I know some people who earning a lot from video marketing through youtube and metacafe. They are not a professional video creator. They just use their webcam or video camera. Shoot a 1-2 minutes video within a very popular niche. Then publish it into the youtube or metacafe. In the video description, they leave their web address. Which leads a lot of targeted visitors to their website.

I've got my fingers in a few pies to earn quick cash and I know a lot of IM'ers would say, concentrate on one thing, get it working properly and move on to the next or scale up. I'm multitasking in a few ideas, Fiverr for quick cash, Adsense for long term cash. My present subject is built around turning my articles into youtube presentations as video is getting more and more popular for marketing and traffic. Make sure you do your research. You will find tons of information in this forum, and most of the guys and girls here are happy to help and give advice.
    Good luck.

What is this video product you speak of? I'd advise you to look in the "Warrior Reviews" section and see if there is a detailed review for the product you are considering.

Something more serious. It looks like you're still looking for the magic bullet that doesn't exist. IM is a dedicated endeavor and video is only part of the marketing mix you will need to utilize, depending on the business model you choose to pursue. *Hint* Video isn't a business model, it's a marketing tactic.

I'd save your money, invest some time reading the forums, and figure out your niche, business model, and then your marketing mediums.

The key here is not to quit. I tried to do this all for 2 years and made ZIP but kept going and shortly afterwards did $250k in a week with a product launch and over $6m since then.

By the way - there is definitely money to be made in videos (video products, video reviews of affiliate products, using videos to drive traffic). Good luck!

I definitely wouldn't argue with Michael, however, from the looks of it he is speaking like he still doesn't know where to start and could easily post a thread here in a few months time trying a new method of making money online, without focussing his attention on what he wants to do and what's his strengths.
      Just my 2 cents

I myself have been working on IM for a couple of years. I do believe there is money to be made from it. Videos can be good, it is just finding the right niche and something people are searching for. My thought is to do additional research and find things that are in demand and create your own product. I have learned though my own trial and errors that having residual income is the best and to offer several different marketing items to create multiple income streams. This way if one is slow you have the other products to bring in the IM dollars. When I first started in IM I brought products that claimed to make me a lot of money. Needless to say I did not make the type of money they claimed. So my advice is find a niche you are good at and create a product for it. They main key is not to quit. Just keep on pushing forward and it will soon be rewarding for you.

      Hi jpsween

I was in a similar boat until I finally just picked one target market that I know I can add value, and one online business model that I know I can make successful and got my self a successful mentor that's already been through B.S.

and I can tell that one of biggest assets online is building a list you can use video as traffic source and master it there so much information on this forum you do not need to waste another cent on a clickbank product.
