Free PR8 Backlinks at Ning.com

Hello Warriors,

My gift to you today. Go to Ning. Create your own social network for anything. and register for an account. On your profile page you can have high quality pr8 backlinks and I believe that they ARE followed and spidered.

I checked the source code and didn't detect a nofollow tag. Hopefully, this will qualify as a very good backlink.

I wouldn't abuse this though.

I'm pretty sure am going to sign up for that, if anything works then that would be nice. In the end, I'll not lose something, maybe gain back more having a PR8 link is good.

yes this is a great site. the people who started this whole project are very heavy-hitters in the internet world - Marc Andreesen (part-founder of Netscape) and Gina Binachinni.

That's right - always when you set up a brand new page on any social site, it starts at PR0 but having a page on a high PR site will bring up up to a decent PR quicker/

I checked out ning.com. Front page was showing PR8. However, I then clicked on a random profile and it had PR5.

Question for the ones that said they'll open an account: can you please check your new profile PR?

networking site? Or are just getting the backlinks from
profiles scattered across the Ning network be fine?

i signed up, but i didnt figure out where and how to place links.

On a side-note, the nr. of "social network" sites slowly grows out of hand..kind of. It gets increasingly difficult to maintain and actively feed w/ content 10,20,30+ social sites.

The profile has an area to set up anchor text links on it. You don't need to set up a social network to do that; you do it right in your main Ning profile.
