Original Web Series Audience Building
Hello,
My name is Will Ryan, and I have recently started producing, writing, directing, and hosting my own web series. In addition to this, I work a sales job roughly 30 hours a week. This presents me with a massive hurdle because it has been incredibly hard for me to build any kind of web audience. Because of the time I spend at my job and every spare minute spent on my show, I have no time to watch webinars or do any kind of in-depth research/work on the matter. In fact, production begins for the second season of my series this week. As a result, I am at a loss. My show is hosted through blip.tv, where I get paid via ad revenues via RPM. Obviously, without a lot of traffic, I make little to no money. I need to know the best, most comprehensive methods to building a large audience to my show as fast as possible. I am willing to outsource any work that I cannot do myself if the results will be lasting and substantive. My show is an anime review show. Because of this, I don't know if anyone here has the appropriate knowledge of the subject matter or the proper audience, but I figured I might as well give it a shot, since I haven't been able to do jack squat on my own.
