Where do you recommend to buy Solo Ads?

INTERNET MARKETING

On one of my previous threads i was advised to buy solo ads. Ive looked into the meaning of solo ads and believe its to have your business information appear on companies email lists? Am i correct? Apologise if im completely off scale as new to this approach.

Where do you recommend to buy solo ads based in the UK? Have you had experince with them and its worked? How do you really know how big the company is you contact to appear on their email distribution list?

Any advice or to shed some light would be appreciated, taking my first steps in this area.

  Do yourself a favour and look up Directory of Ezines, or Charlie Page. The DOE has been completely updated, they teach you everything you need to know about solo ads, they have a ezine and newsletter directory there on pretty much anything you would want to market. and a hell of a lot more...best investment I ever made on the internet.

Be very careful about who you hire for this and that you do your due diligence, as many on this forum have had bad experience with Solo Ads.
A couple of respected warriors on this topic are Paul Nichols and Dann Vicker, so please search for their posts on this topic and see what they say on it.
N.B. I am sorry if others feel i have left them out, i'm just saying a couple of names that popped instantly into my mind.

I don't know maybe it would, but like i said above there's so much info in this forum on the topic that i think you should start there perhaps.
Again make sure whatever route you take to carry out proper due diligence.

I always subscribe to the newsletters or ezines I want my solo to be in first, and then have a look at the kind of information they send out. Start out small with less than say 15000 subscriber list, test the ads first before spending to much up front. Get your solo to convert with your offer before bringing out the big guns. I have had success with the same solo to the same list 3 times in a row.

theres lots of great solo ads out there and also lots of shockingly bad ones

you do have to be very careful who you buy off but once you get a good list together of trusted solo sellers it certainly makes things a lot easier

theres new solo sellers popping up all the time so be a bit careful if you have never heard of them before, do some research before hand if need be and ask for testimonials
