Cleaning House and Needed Suggestion

Hi Warriors,

I took about hour last night and unsubscribed to all of the opt in emails in my inbox. Why you ask? Because being a newbie and trying to filter through all of the mass of information is exhausting. Not only that, but I started to notice a trend that is quite unsavory and I thought I would mention it here as to spark a conversation on maybe what a newbie wants, needs and looks for.

There are a few things that turn me off as a newbie, and someone who has read countless emails, squeeze pages, etc.

1. The $$. I understand that the eye catch is in the dollar amount that someone is earning. This of course is what draws a person in. Simple marketing tactic. However, I tend to believe that someone who makes $32,483.23 in 3 hours is absolutely the exception. One other point to the money area is I understand that video and products can be reused over time and that's great, but when you are showing me a video in 2012 and your earnings are from 2006, it's a huge turn off.

2. The recent plague of bad links. I have recently received over 5 emails with links that are reported as being malicious.

3. If you are really putting yourself out there, and send your list an email explaining how you are offering a 30 minute call free of charge, then follow through. I recently signed up for an offer such as this, and waited and waited and waited. The marketer, or someone claiming to be him, called me himself at 7:00am on a Sat morning, asked me if anyone had been in contact with me to set a time up and then let me know someone would contact me when I said no. I received an email from the "coordinator" who again asked me if I had been set up, I replied no and then again the ball was dropped. Someone else was to contact me. I emailed the coordinator back and let them know noone had contacted me, and I was then sent a link to some scheduling program from someone else. No good. BTW, I never did get my call, and it seemed as though the whole process was blamed on me.

4. Offer quality, precise and complete products. Period.

Basically I would love to read content and emails that is honest, real and draws me back for more.

I'm excited to take the time to really go back and look at whose list is worth signing up for. I'm not trying to bust anyone's balls here, it more that I want this chance to segway from services and I feel that there is some lack of honesty.

If you have any suggestions of a person I "must have" email from I would love to hear more!

Best,

KTW

Personally, I have never come across a magic formula of making money. So anyone making a claim to make xxx in 1 day is not telling the truth. Even if one did make the money, it must have taken xxx days to reach that point.
