Amazon Theme That Allows Text on The Homepage?

Hey Guys,

I build amazon and adsense sites. The adsense sites are easier to rank due to there usually being text on the first page that I can optimize. Usually Amazon sites dont have any text on the homepage making them much harder to rank.

I am looking for any theme suggestions that allow for a short 250-400 word blurb at the top and then where I can list Amazon links below.

If its compatible with Wprobot that would be extremely useful as well.

    You an use the plugin "Widget Logic" to add a header or footer (or both) widget to just your homepage and fill that with as much text as you want.

    How is the header treated by the Search Engine?

    Same as text in the body of the page? Any SEO Experts Know?

    Thats a great idea though because I already have the perfect Amazon theme
