HOW and WHERE to sell $$$-making Amazon sites as a package?

IMPORTANT: Just to be clear, this is not a "website-for-sale" ad, I just need input on where and how I could sell these for a good price in an easy transaction all together.

Hi Guys,
I'd like to know what the best way (or best place) would be to sell a bunch of Amazon affiliate sites in a single bulk package. I am moving my business primarily into product creation, so I'd like to sell all of my Amazon sites to focus on (and free up some cash for) the projects I'm working on now. Also, I've basically forgotten about them since February, so it seems like a good idea to let someone else have them.

I'll tell you some details below, then I have a few questions. Any insight is appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Site(s) details
*7 websites on 2 hosting accounts.
*All wordpress-based, review-style sites
*Average monthly earnings for the last 6 months(all sites combined) = $124.01/month (yes, I can provide screenshots or whatever is needed for proof)
*All sites are earning money
*No trademarks in any of the domains

Questions
1. WHERE is the best place to list these sites as a package? Is it on the Warrior Forum, Flippa, or somewhere else?

2. HOW MUCH should I list the package for, considering earnings? Should I not give a price, and simply ask for offers? I heard a while ago that with adsense, 10-12 times the monthly earnings is an average price, but what about with amazon sites?

3. How does one actually go about transferring the sites? Can I pay to have someone do it, or is there a certain way to do it that keeps myself and the buyer protected?

Thanks again for reading and commenting, I appreciate the response!

You might want to try to sell them individually as you might get more than all in one?

I thought about this, but honestly, I just want to get rid of all of them at once because I am really busy with new projects, and it's just not worth my time to break them all up for individual sales.

In the websites for sale section here on the WF or Flippa.com - if they are making money they will sell.

Normally I estimate a sites value at 10-12 it's monthly income as long as it has been running for 12 months.

You just need to send all the files, push the domain to them and change the DNS.

If you are dealing with Wordpress it gets a bit more tricky but do a search for "How to transfer a site", "How to transfer a wordpress blog" and there is loads of stuff on this.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards putting them up in the "Complete web sites for sale" section of this forum, just to keep things simple. I will look into info on transferring the sites too, I was just hoping there was an easy way to do it all at once, or that someone could recommend the BEST way to do things quickly.

In terms of pricing, 10-12x monthly earnings is pretty much what I had in mind as well, but I see other people on Flippa and here price their Amazon sites much higher, and a few price lower....hmmm.

Any other insight is appreciated, guys. I'm still trying to decide on a final course of action here.

I am interested in actually dipping my hands into the amazon sites, so I would be interested in seeing what you have built already and if I like it ill make an offer.

As I mentioned above, I'm not using this thread to actually offer these sites for sale, I am just seeking information on where and how to sell them as a group easily, quickly, and for the best price. Thanks for your interest anyways.

I do a lot on flippa, and 10x extremely hard to get. If total the sites are making about $100 a month I would estimate it selling $300-$450. That's just what I normally see on flippa though.

I've been watching Flippa too, and what you are saying is absolutely, 100% false. 10-12 times monthly earnings still seems to be the norm, and I've seen a bunch of sites go for MUCH more than that. A look at Flippa (specifically the "most active" section) shows sites going for between 11-16 times the monthly earnings right now.

The only reason I'm asking about the price here is because I don't see a lot of groups of money-making Amazon sites being sold together.

Don't forget flippa is an auction site, so the prices for selling may vary from 10x monthly income. You can always set a reserve price. You'll probably get a good price if you sell it here.

One thing you mentioned you weren't sure about the transfer of the site, either start practising or make sure you mention in your sale page that the buyer can take care of installing the site, you can just send them the files. Though it is pretty easy, wordpress has a good page on it - codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress (copy and paste since I can't post links yet).

        good luck

Not sure of what kind of hosting you use but you could possibly include hosting for 30 days then agree to bill them monthly. 30 days free hosting included could be a sales bonus.

Depending on the buyer will depend on what they'll want to do. If experienced buyer they'll likely want to take control using their own hosting asap.

You could possibly simply clone the sites, once they are sold, using a backup/clone tool. Push the domain to them after you've collected, have them install wordpress and provide you with login info and install the sites.

Think I'd rather just give them the sites clone files and have them do it OR charge an fee outside your auction price to do the set up OR do it for them...include as another bonus with the sell. This way the buyer actually has 2 extra reasons to buy your sites.

Bonus 1 - Free hosting for 30 days
Bonus 2 - Free set up on their hosting account (if they don't have hosting have them buy hosting for hostgator thru your affiliate link... pocket an easy $250. Not sure if that's still what they payout for affiliate web hosting sign up.

Regardless of the amount its' extra cash and if the buyer is newbie and easy sell. As a prerequisite for them getting your "free site transfer and set up" they must buy thru your affiliate link. Let them know that ahead of time.

Best of luck on your site sales. Keep us posted.
