I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to create a email list? thx

    Find an email service, for example AWeber. Sign up. Create an opt-in form. Embed it on to your site, if that's where you'll be growing your list from. Create an enticing reason to join and of course, make sure people see it... in other words, if your site gets 2 visitor a day, chances are you won't be getting too many opt ins.

    Start with aweber, you can get in for $1 trial and then $19 a month. Do your research in Aweber, they have plenty of tutorial videos and How To... Their support is fantastic. You will need to build rapport with your list, don't try to sell to them straight away or you will get lots of unsubscribes. Then send them along to your affilliate or CPA offers.

    I am thinking that the poster is asking how do they get a list not where do they store it - excuse me if I am wrong!

    You need to have a niche and a way to capture e mail addresses before you embark on actually collecting them, according to me.

    Build a squeeze page with an opt in box connected to your autoresponder such as aweber. Offer an unresistable free offer in exchange for their emails. Maintain your list by giving them good informattion before you start selling to them.

    Here you go.

    1. Get an auto-responded. I recommend Aweber.
    2. Buy domain. Create landing page.
    3. Find targeted traffic.

    Not too difficult. Except for the traffic part. Quite easy, though, once you understand how to find your audience.

    1. Select a niche;
    2. Build an attractive squeeze page that will get people interested in what you are offering (I Recommend optimize press);
    3. Get an autoresponder - as mentioned above Aweber would be prefered;
    4. Drive traffic through either SEO, youtube, ppc, forum marketing or a blog.

    It can be a slow grind building from the start but once the ball is moving, if you keep scaling your traffic efforts it will build like wild fire - then you can cash in - if you look after the people on your list.
