Amazon Experts Needed

Amazon experts I need some advice. I have been doing IM for some time now and I am looking to expand my knowledge to Amazon so I dont have all my eggs in one basket.

From the info Ive gathered the easiest way to go about this is to set up a blog and do a blog post/review of the products but here is my question. When doing link building should I build links to each indv blog post/review and what other suggestions can you provide?

Looking forward to hearing from you

Yes, you should build links to each individual blog post. You can basically do this by setting up a lot of free blogs, and point them to each of your posts. Also add blog networks and social bookmarking to boost your rankings.

Would recommend https://www.onlywire.com/ to get you started getting your pages indexed, and it's very easy to integrate with WordPress.

I personally do not build links to my Amazon review sites. I focus on low-competition products that are easy to rank and then create quality reviews (not spun or outsourced). I rank easily and other sites often reference my sites for reviews, generating even more traffic and natural backlinks.

Do you simply make one review for the product or multiple ones? Do you have one blog per product?

I build one site per niche and each site contains 50-100 reviews (1 review per product).

You should build links to each of your blog post and review if they generate 1, 000+ search monthly.

Here is what i normally do when it comes to promoting amazon product.

First of all i secure a domain, this domain name is often in general/broad terms, since you can't target a product name/trademark, it will be smart to get additional traffic from a broad keyword. Here is what i mean:

Let's say am trying to promote "television", i will find about 3 to 5 keywords related to television and start my domain from there.
The domain will have an exact match and also optimized for the 5 broad keywords usually low competitive.

Next, i will find 3 to 5 product name of television and create pages for them and have it in the title and not the URL because they are Trade Mark.

At this time i love to leave the blog post area with only one content related to the domain and have the product name in the pages because products comes and goes but the broad name for them all remains.

There are two advantages with this:

    1. With a good knowledge of SEO and work you will be building a strong domain that will rank easily for any new post you focus a little link on.

    2. Again, because products comes and goes, i will still be able to promote new product on my blog post and immediately send traffic to it because the central domain is targeting a closely related keyword that will barely stop receiving traffic. So even when the products on the pages become outdated and people no longer search for them, i will still be enjoying targeted traffic and sales.

I like to target a few good generic buyer keywords and begin with ranking the home page of the site for these keywords.

I will launch the site with high quality product reviews of the top 5 selling products in the niche I'm targeting.

When you build quality links to the home page of the site it builds authority and helps the internal review pages rank without much or any link building.
