Default Freelancers Will Love This!

Back when I was on Elance in the beginning, it was $69 a month. Then it jumped to $125 - for ghostwriters (graphics were even more). Now I just checked and an individual service provider account is just $9.95 a month!!

This is GREAT for freelance Warriors. Might be detrimental to marketers who hire from there because it allows almost anyone to set up an account and bid on projects, but like I said - GREAT for Warriors who want to make money as service providers.

I was shocked. I don't belong there anymore because I don't need to, but I wish they'd been that affordable when I was just starting out online!

Isn't that for a really basic service, though? I think you can only bid on about 3 jobs per month at that level. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure, so do correct me if that's wrong, but I seem to recall that was the case not too long ago.

It says it gives 20 proposals per month. But even the top tier (large business) that gives 60 per month is only $39.95.

I don't like this freelancing sites. It's time consuming to get jobs on there, it's easier to get some on forums like sitepoint or digitalpoint and via a portfolio

Yeah Sensai but elance attracts higher quality bidders and projects. It's worth the fee.
