Just an idea I had for any newbies like myself I have heard internet marketers speaking about having a network. Would any newbies out there fancy linking up your blogs to mine and vice versa, I think together we could build up a strong network.just an idea

link swapping is a bad idea and easily detected by google... It probably won't harm your website, but it will not do you any good.

I think you would be better off networking by building a group on a high traffic site like FB or Google groups.

Build your network there and link to your sites.

      IMHO

I don't mind networking with other bloggers. I am doing it with 3 other guys right now. I have a PR3 site (looking to be PR4 after this next update) What is your site's PR? I will exchange with you if you or anyone else's site is at least a PR3 and has good quality content on it.

As previously mentioned in another comment, linking blogs up will not get you any link juice! It may even hurt your blogs. However, you have Twitter, Facebook, Skype and a few other social networks you can utilize freely, secretly and/or openly without a problem.

And, if all else fails, you have the Warrior Forum here where you'll probably find your largest group of newbies on the web! Utilize what you have at hand and stop re-inventing the wheel. If you have a very specific niche or common interest, linking up outside the WF may be a good thing.

However, there are quite a few specialized groups found within the WF; just spend some time looking around THIS forum ... you may be amazed at what you find.

Links exchange / Link wheel kind of thing? Be careful, Google is smart and may not be kind. Sounds like a very old idea to me.

I am fairly new to IM as well. It's been slow going even though I have one of my sites on page 1 of Google and a few other sites on page 2 and 3. I get some traffic, but getting the adsense clicks, Clickbank sales, or Amazon sales has been very difficult. It sucks when you have a great site that people visit but it doesn't make any money.

Maybe you just haven't found the right way to monetize it. If you are getting traffic and people are spending money in the niche then there should be a way. Maybe try some CPA offers.
