Do I have to verify my name (Identity) with EZA?

I found this in their TOS:

EzineArticles reserves the right to ask any author to provide documentation or proof a name is accurate.

E.g. An author writing in a Woodworking niche whose name is "Robert Wood" may be required to provide documentation or proof their last name is in fact "Wood."

Author names with a royalty title, a professional doctorate or attorney at law title may also be required to provide documentation or proof the name and/or title is accurate.

Not normally, no. I think they reserve the right to do this only in case people claim, for example, legal/medical expertise, in which case they might want to verify the qualifications. "Ordinary marketers" have no problem.

When you get to "Platinum", they send you something like an EZA coffee-mug and/or an EZA mouse-mat and/or an EZA pad of paper and pen (depending on in which country you live), and I've heard of them closing down accounts of people if it's eventually been returned to them marked "not known at this address" or whatever, so they may possibly - in a sense - be using that as a very indirect, half-hearted way of "checking people's addresses", but I think that isn't often going to happen.

Anyway, the short answer to your question is "No, not normally".

I have used EZA for years and have never had to send them anything in order to verify my name.
