Not sure if this the right forum to post this in, but I am looking to market my eBay store. Sales are good right not, but I want to take it to the next level.

If someone has experience in this I would certainly pay for the help. I looked through the Warrior For Hire section and there seems to be tons of options. Not sure which the best one for me is.

Thanks.

The best thing to do is create an eCommerce store as that makes your products available to everyone. the problem with this is, if you are working in a large niche you will get a lot of competition and it will be very hard to make profit.

You could also try forum marketing on a wholesale, eCommerce or eBay forum or a forum of the niche you are in. they usually charge for advertising but it's worth it.

I'm willing to help some more if you need I have quite a lot of experience in eBay, I used to sell on there via dropshipping.

Thanks for the reply Tim. I am working on a ecommerce store now. I am also getting many of my listings up on Amazon.

The main product I sell there is almost no competition for. It is unique.

Great, thats good because it means easier marketing and ranking in Google. Although the reason it might have little to no competition is because it is a bad item, what's your daily sales volume?

You're paying eBay's high fees because they bring traffic. If they're not bringing enough traffic...

If you can build an opt-in list, then your own ecommerce store may be a good idea. You won't have to depend on Google for traffic.

You should at least try your products on Amazon. Some things work, some don't, but it really is the ultimate longtail site.

            What this person says.

If you get to the point where you are having to bring in your own traffic by whatever means, then you should probably start trying to transition yourself into running your own website.

The point of using eBay is that they should bring in enough traffic with their 15% in fees. Most people, including eBay, doesn't understand how much 15% is in a global trade marketplace that strongly encourages cut-throat competitive pricing - most people are lucky to even have enough of a profit margin to pay eBay it's 15%. If eBay isn't bringing you the traffic you need, then it's time to leave eBay or at least try to branch out a little more.

Since you are selling a unique product you can try buying PPC ads or banner ads too. A unique product is always attractive.

To get to the next level you can try to start building a mail list and send e-mails when you update your ebay store or once a week/ 2 weeks. This way you can have returning customers easier.
