Is affiliate only suite for part time work?

I have a website and I SEO it myself, and sell my own products online for a while. Business is so so in the past, Didn't make a lot money.

Recently, I read a lot of e-books & videos about online affiliate like amazon or clickbank. They all said you and make a lot lot lot of $ if you do affiliate like they said.

I tried amazon affiliate and adsense and click bank but made no money at all. I fell it is very very hard.

I wonder if affiliate is only good for part time play or what? Are there many people do affiliate as full time job and make a lot of $ like the tutorial said?:confused:

Please help me out, thanks a lot!

    I had to try quite a few ideas before I found one that worked. It isn't easy, but the hard work will eventually pay off.

      My only web site works but not as good as before, I am struggling to stop it and move into affiliate as a full time job. My target is to make $3500 us dollar monthly. I am not sure if it is possible? :confused:

        It's definitely possible. There are many people here who earn more than this as full-time affiliates.

        However, like almost anything else potentially well-paid, it has quite a big learning curve, and like any other form of self employment, more people fail than succeed.

            I use both of those, and other things. I started with ClickBank and have gradually added other things.

            Amazon and ClickBank are both good, but very different.

            Yes ... there's a good one called the Affiliate Marketing Schoolbook, by Laura Burke. (You'll find it through Google). That's as good as anything you can get, in my opinion. To be honest, it's also the only one I've ever seen that isn't full of misinformation and misguided advice!

        Trust me, I know it is possible from experience. But like I said, you just gotta find something that works. I found what worked best for me is to try something, and know when to admit it wasn't working, and move on to the next idea. Just keep looking around for good ideas and you will find something!

    People make a full time job out of affiliate marketing, but you must be dynamic and flow with the times and adjust to algorithm changes quickly for organic traffic.

    Hey buddy, if you go to Baby Steps On Your Way To Success jeff wlaker has the right video for you, that will rewire your mindset, do not try too many things at the same time.. There are people making a killing doing only affiliate marketing, the reson is focus and a clear vision.. first you start trying various methods of affiliate markeitng, then work on your traffic , then work on your list buiding , each time you kearn and grow and if you are focused for 6 months thats when the real success will kick in and once the momentum is there u will grow leaps and bounds. good luck

    Well, for affiliate marketing, you should use email marketing technique. It's one of the most reliable ways to profit from there. Because those in your list will be your ready buyers after filtering system. You just need some time to build that list.

    Most people who make the big bucks have their own products. BUT they did start off as an affiliate then moved on to creating products (a lot of them).

    There are a ton of affiliates doing affiliate marketing full time and making a ton of money. Most of them including myself started off part time. Find one method to use and master it before moving onto others.
