Need a new hosting service

I have 2 website hosts. I am very please with Hostgator but the other one is a disaster - how many times do you need to see "Internal Server Error?"

I am keeping Hostgator but need another host fast.

Any suggestions for where to move my websites?

Thanks,

Lewis

    Hi Lewis

I have 6 at the moment - I believe in spreading the risk!

Eveyone you ask will tell you that the hosting service they use is either the best or the worst around.

Truth is I know people who have never had a problem and love hosting services that have given me nightmares.

My advice would be to list what you need from a hosting provider and find one that provides the service, then just jump in and sign up with them.

At least then you'll be getting your sites up and can deal with any problems IF they arrive.

    Good luck

    Tony

I have Hostgator at the moment, since about Feb this year, but I previously had one from Australia that is both inexpensive AND seems to be fairly reliable. That one I have had for over a year now and only one time for a couple of days, I couldn't get into my cPanel because of some hackers.

Give iipanel.net a look-see and see what you think. They have a good cpanel and their support has always been fairly quick by my standards.

    Hi Lewis,

I can recommend WebHostGiant, a discount host. I've been with them for many years, and they provide excellent customer support.
Low Cost Web Hosting - WebhostGIANT ( I have no affiliate relationship with them. Just like to spread the word...) PM me if you would like a discount code.

    Success,

Ok well assuming you're after a budget shared host with cPanel, some of the popular providers on my hosting site (apart from HostGator) are HostPapa and WebHostingPad.

this happened to me before, i thought it was the host, turned out to be the script that needed a slight edit.

I own MarksPixel, Fairly new, I like to say it's very reliable

I just joined and thought i should introduce myself and instead stumbled upon this post

Lewis, there is one that my nephew uses all the time for his stuff and I have to say that I have never heard him complain about it and all the stats I can find show it to be very reliable based on outsiders tests. I do also know that their Customer Support is top notch, being available by phone or ticket 24/7/365. That is LFC Hosting located at lfchosting.com. They have plenty of storage as well as bandwidth and they have several scripts already to go at no additional charge.

It could be either, so just curious.
I logged into the support center and it says that they are doing RAID array reinitialization. It's been going on for the past couple of days.

It has happened a few times before - should have moved then.

Now it's really costing me money in lost sales.
