Trolling YouTube for traffic is about to get much HARDER
The problem with YouTube comments, to be blunt, is that there is no accountability. Somebody could just make up a fake profile and just post all sorts of obnoxious garbage. This is a form of digital pollution that really ruins many people's enjoyment of otherwise stellar video content on YouTube. That is the root cause of the problem and it may turn out that may also be the source of the solution. |
Their solution? Kill 2 birds with one stone. Boost google + participation by requiring a tighter correlation between a person's Google + persona and Youtube identity. The logic? Most people won't go overboard if their regular persona is on the line. I am not so sure if this will work. Let's see how it all plays out.
