Subdomain and Title tags

Hi,

I have a website and a subdomain set up for this website. Let's call it subdomain.keyword.com for sake of explanation.

I have installed wordpress on subdomain.keyword.com and have set up the all in one seo plugin and have set the title and description tags and have waited about 3-4 weeks. When I search for my website in Google as so... info:subdomain.keyword.com my website shows up but my title and descriptions are not showing up like they would for a root domain.

There is no description, and the title is showing up as "keyword here - index of" instead of showing what I input for the all in one seo plugin. Also, Subdomain2.keyword.com is showing up as keyword here >> uncategorized - index of. The "keyword here" part is matching the site title and tag line under Settings > General > Site Title and the Tagline.

How can I fix this so that each subdomain matches the proper all in one seo plugin info?

Best,
Andrew

Are your setting in wordpress correct? I would suggest using SEO For Wordpress plugin by yoast. I use some subdomains and set everything up with this plugin and it works fine.

Okay thanks! That plugin is 10x better than the one I was using. How long does it take Google to update their data so when I search I can see if what I changed worked?

I'm pretty sure that should have solved the problem but I am also noticing something else...

I am using market samurai to monitor rankings and in the settings > general I have WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) and have added www. before the "subdomain." But when I do an info search in google for info:www.subdomain.keyword.com and info:subdomain.keyword.com Google shows 2 different results.

This is also causing either the page with or without the www. to fluctuate in rankings for the main keyword (sometimes the www. page will rank higher and sometimes the plain subdomain without the www before will rank higher) and I have no idea what is causing this.

    Thanks.

Does anyone know the answer to this:
