So you can't dispute WSO purchases any more?????

So I was having a problem with a WSO purchase. I never got what was offered in the sales letter. What I did get was a sales pitch for a $97 a month product. I already paid $10.50 for the WSO and $37 for the OTO. The first link I clicked in the delivery page told me the webinar is finished. Every other link was a sales pitch for this $97 monthly product.

Multiple support tickets later I put in a ticket to Mike Lantz's program as the payment went to his organization. The response told me to try my luck with PayPal. So when I started to process the dispute, I get this message;

and the link takes me back to Mike's support page, which I just left.

So now if you have a problem with a WSO purchase, such as I did, if you complain through PayPal, you can no longer buy WSOs?????

My question is, WTF are you supposed to do if a seller is unresponsive? I would probably be better off if I was banned from buying any more WSOs. There is just too many New Shiny Objects offered in the WSO forum.

I guess I could just get them from the black hat forums, or maybe just change my PayPal ID and email address. I mean, WTF am I supposed to do? I contacted the seller twice or more, I contacted Mike's help desk, am I just supposed to eat $47 and receive nothing for it?

    Very sad story dude.. Paypal never helps whether you are a seller or buyer but I don't believe that they have made this new policy

    Did anyone else also know about it?

    There is a difference between "requesting a refund" and "filing a dispute".

    Filing a dispute makes it look like the vendor was dishonest with you in some way, and as a result, filing a dispute damages the vendor.

    Someone did this recently on a purchase that I was able to document fully with PayPal, and PayPal recommended I remove the person from my list and prevent them from buying from me in the future. LOL

    Regarding this part, go to the WSO in question, and hit the little red triangle. Explain the situation to the mods, and they will help you.

    I have heard that you can do this also through Help Desk, but I am not sure the preferred method of contacting the mods.

      The report post (red triangle) is the primary way to do this. The help desk is more for technical issues with the forum.

    This really makes things difficult. I've bought a few WSO's where the seller skipped out without continuing support. The last one that comes to mind was Dylan Jones Local Fusion Wordpress plugin. It's a practice that hurts the forum and the whole Internet marketing eco-system. I cant imagine what more could be done to protect buyers from this type situation and from what I have read in the OP, even Paypal is over it.
