What to do when your affiliate program is discontinued...

I been using the printglobe.com affiliate program for a yard sign website and, unfortunately, they've temporarily (albeit without a relaunch date) discontinued their affiliate program.

I've looked for alternative affiliate programs, but nothing meets my requirements: all three types of campaign signs, union bug available.

With this in mind, I'm going to reach out to printers who don't have an affiliate program and see if we can do business. I'm sure I will be able to find someone willing to work with me.

So, what's the best way to structure and how should you implement an affiliate, cost per lead, or other agreement from scratch?

What are the best 3rd party applications that could facilitate an affiliate program on such a small scale?

Would it be easier / would I be better off to structure something where I would get a little money each time I refer someone to the printer's site? If so, how would I price that out (Google adwords CPC? Ask the printer for his customer acquisition cost, other?)

Thanks for your help warriors!

How many sales were you making a month? If you had the money, I would order in bulk and sell them yourself. I'd take that as an opportunity to cut out (or trim down) the middlemans take.

Thanks for your quick reply HeadToHeadFAntasy.

I should have mentioned that these are custom printed signs (ie. Smith for Congress, Vote No on Prop 1, etc.), so I don't have those capabilities in house.
