I recently launched a streetwear company called Archetype and am giving away a free sneakerbook, its about a hundred years of famous footwear designs (digital download) but only have about a hundred people on the list. Any suggestions to boost the opt in amount. Been running Facebook and Adwords with limited success. Any advice would be great? |

Run some PPC ads and maybe you could start an affiliate program so that you have affiliates promoting your website as well.

Swap Facebook with Microsoft Adcenter. Do you do any form of free marketing? On Youtube or anything like that? How long have you had the site.

The target market are mainly male youth that are part of "sneaker culture" and streetwear. Similar brands would be sold at Urban Outfitters and Karmaloop.

Here is an idea...try to get in touch with YouTube personalities with a large fanbase and request them to promote your website. You would have to compensate them in some way though. You could also have a special discount code just for their subscribers. I have seen this being done several times. Just an idea |

Streetwear is all about the bloggers. If you can get your stuff on HighSnobiety, Hypbeast, etc then you'll sell out collections. Don't worry about approaching the big dogs straight away though, there are enough smaller fashion bloggers with massive followings for you to pick and choose. Send them some free swag. The industry thrives on this kind of marketing. |
