A question for Australian internet marketers...

I like to know if anyone applied for an ABN for their internet marketing business. I read that you will need an ABN if you are dealing with Australian suppliers and be eligible for other claims from GST and feul credits etc. As an internet marketer I don't think these things apply to us, right?
Also, how do you report your earnings to the ATO? One your own(e-tax) or an accountant does for you?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Well, it's up to you if you want to run the gauntlet for taxable income whether it is through an Australian means or not.
I'm not an expert by any means, but if you want to make this a business, you'll need to set things up properly, so it is advised to get an ABN and business registered.
For eg. Paypal requires you to supply an ABN and business name registration when you turn over your first $1000.

    - Just don't register your business as a Trust as Paypal does not want anything to do with it (as I found out brutally )

I supply everything to the accountant...I'll never spend a minute more of my life crunching numbers - what a headache!!
