What is the Best E-Commerce Platform

Hi Warriors,

I What is the best E-Commerce platform that you have had experience with or know of?

I have used one in particular for the past 6 years and I am looking at moving onto a new one.

I have looked at many.

I like Wordpress and use it for all my websites and love the ease of use of it. There are many Wordpress Plugins and themes and I am thinking about going with one of them.

That being said it is nice to have support you can call up if something is wrong rather than having to fix it yourself which Wordpress for the most part does not seems to have.

So any thoughts or ideas on this are greatly appreciated!

    I use WP for my niche sites, which I call Micro Shopper sites, these usually have 10-50 items, for example... Trampoline Nets. I personally like WP, but every developer I've talked with always talks me into using Magento when it comes to building larger websites where things can become more complicated.

      Thanks Silas. Yes this is for a site with 1000's of items and it is a site that is already built and has a platform so merging from the old site to the new site I am sure will be difficult.

      I've checked out Magento before but was never sold on it.

      I have looked at another one called 3D cart and comparing it to 3D cart, 3D cart is less expensive. But I will check into it.

      There are quite a few options out there so I look forward to reading others responses and experiences. Thanks again Silas!

    I suggest MAGENTO as this is recommended for bigger sites and is used by big names in eCommerce industry.

    I use Zen Cart. I like it because it has great community support, has lots of add-ons available, and is very customizable.

    You may also want to try Big Commerce this software comes with a platform that makes it manageable to sell even through facebook and iPhone too..

    Of all the WP ecommerce plugins, I personally think Woo Commerce is the best in terms of functionality, support and addons.
