I found this site reading through this website the past weekend.

I am working on my FIRST amazon site through wordpress. I've come to the conclusion that I don't know a thing about images and banners, etc.

Is this a worthwhile thing to outsource? Does anyone get burned on Fiverr?

You don't have to accept the product until you are happy with it.

I've had several headers designed recently on Fiverr.

OK so far I am happy using FIVERR, but I typically will write the person before sending them money. Sadly, some people are not going to like this, but be careful who does your gigs. Not all people on FIVERR are pros. Actually, some are not very good at what they do, but you can find a few gems. Like we should make a list of best artists on FIVERR and put it up.

I have had nothing but good experiences on Fiverr thus far.

Just make sure you contact the seller before buying, and check their rating and feedback.

And don't expect too much. Expecting too much from Fiverr is unfair and unjust from both ends.

You may want to check out Fiverr All Stars WSO, I just wrote a review on my blog having been through it - it has the best of the best of graphic designers in there, amongst a whole bunch of other stuff.

Outsourcing is definitely the way to go - but it depends how you value your time. Pay someone to do it right, while you are getting things done, or spend 5 hours giving yourself a headache?
