Favorite Thing About Owning Websites

I don't know about you but nothing beats that feeling of working hard to improve content and conversions and see over $500 in your bank account and it's only noon.

Took over a website which I purchased for $3,000 knew the value in it once I change things and already close the eliminating $1,000 off that in under a month. I see people struggle to make a dollar you will get there if you keep pushing. I just need the days to come when I make a minimum of $500 a day, till then I won't be fully satisfied but damn this business can give you a rush on the good days.

I'll jump on that bandwagon with ya. The most success that I have had is selling my ebooks. Its a great feeling to wake up(like you said) and find that you have sold 25 ebooks while you were asleep.

The reason so many people make it hard is because they are after it for the money. I have found that if you set up a site with the interest of the reader in mind then it isn't long before you start making money.

When people say ebooks or selling ebooks, they are talking about the "ways to make money, boost traffice, seo secrets" etc right?

I mean, do people sell actually ebooks like "how to grow tomatoes, how rewire a light switch, etc" I could write a **** ton of books on everyday things. Lol.

Yea I agree it's what you put into it. My family is against what I do, they don't understand the potential when I do it's tough sometimes. I have my ups and downs. I took over this ecommerce site and it still needs alot of work but with 15,000 monthly visitors getting a conversion of at least 1% would be huge for me.

Today I made over $3,000 in sales and honestly I am stressed the hell out. Some orders will be back orders, and then I need to keep track of everything along with accounting and making sure I don't miss anything. But I guess you have to work hard for the money right?

    Hey Jeff.

I love owning websites because they give you the freedom to help people in your chosen niche. I really believe that it is essential to help people in this world. There are so many important reasons why helping people should be your primary focus. It is ironically funny that the more you help people the more money you make.

On the flipside, it appears that the more a person is simply trying to make money with their Internet activity, the less money they seem to make. I love using a large, powerful website to help solve problems for people first, and the money always follows later.

I agree with Randall here. I have been writing content for years for others, and there is nothing better than hearing my phone buzz with an email from PayPal that says "you've got money!" in it. I love those emails.

My favourite thing about owning websites is the fact that so many people get to see something I have created from scratch. And it blows my mind that my adverts have been viewed millions and millions of times.

Fav thing about owning a website is that it can be updated from anywhere and it can make a decent income as well. There are some sites that are practically earning money on autopilot.

The things that I like about having a blog are the residual aspect of it -- being able to put up content once but continue to profit from it, that I get to work around my own schedule (don't do well with deadlines), and helping out people by answering e-mails and what not. People always seem so surprised when I actually respond back and they realize I'm a real person. It always makes me chuckle. :-)
