Press Release Submition Software

Does anyone know of a good software that will submit a press release WITHOUT having to pay a monthly fee? I just can't afford to pay the monthly fee when I only do a couple releases a month.

Nope, no submission software. Just submit them by hand. Will take you no more than 10 minutes of your day.

I hate to break it to you but Free submission sites' SEO value is very poor now that PENGUIN has been released. You have to remember that the REAL VALUE of Press releases is to get your message in front of the RIGHT eyeballs. Emphasize the PRESS in press release. Meaning, you have to get the attention of OPINION MAKERS and INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE. You can't do that with a 1000000000000 clone PR for SEO site submitter. I only see those sites' SEO value continuing to decline (rapidly) over time.

The only PR service I would use is PRWeb. They charge quite a bit of money. Rightfully so. Weeds out the non-serious people.

If you want to play the PR game, figure out what it is for and act accordingly-this means building QUALITY websites and producing NEWS WORTHY press releases not keyword stuffed fluff.

Just breaking it to ya gently cuz I don't want you to waste your money and MOST IMPORTANTLY your time and SPIRIT.

iCoachU makes a very good point, but I have always gotten good use out of PRLog.org myself. If you make an account there, which costs nothing, and agree to release your press releases the first, they will do an exclusive delivery which spreads it to more news sites and also will give you stat tracking so that you know how well it did.

It takes me about 5-10 minutes, like Randall said, to get a press release posted and it adds very quick indexing for my new sites as well.

Here's a list of free PR distribution sites you can use:

    1. prlog
    2. i-newswire
    3. pr-inside
    4. free-press-release
    5. onlineprnews
    6. marketpressrelease
    7. addpr

Here's what you should know about them:
    1. Most of these sites won't allow links - but for the link to your website in contact info.
    2. Most of them won't keep your PRs for long.
    3. Do at least a minor rewrite for each one of them, i.e. don't submit one and the same text to all seven.
    4. At large, they're considered to be a waste of time. And prweb for 100 bucks is much better - no doubt about that. But if you're on a limited budget, you should use every free opportunity to build links.

Press releases should be newsworthy and professionally written for them to be accepted for publication on news sites.I still believe a good Press release well published will add value to SEO though it takes sometime (normally) to yield the result. So, you should go with trusted press release service providers.

Using software for submission is a worst things and I don't think that any best press release submission software are there. Press release is a best way to provide genuine or true things to the people.

Hi James, it appears you know what you're talking about, so I would appreciate your answer to the following question:

What do you do PRs for? Link building? Or you have a brand to promote and you want an outreach for journalists?

I'm in two minds about PRs these days. I've been doing them consistently, first free ones, then prweb, then an even more reputable and pricey service.

The pricey service got us on 500+ news sites overnight. And guess what - off we went from the first page of search results three days later.

There were no other activities that could have been the reason. And indeed, put yourself into Google shoes: PR distribution from the link building point of view does appear spamy. The same text with the same links and anchors spread all over the place - to the sites with highly dynamic and zero thematically focused content.

It's even worse than article submission - at least you spin there.

I would greatly appreciate your opinion, James, on the matter - and all the other warriors who have enough experience with paid link building services to observe the aftermath.

      Thank you!
