Alot of people will use a network called twiends or something similar, so yes the likes are real just that your audience might not be intrested in what you have to offer.

I'm aware of twiends and while they are free, it takes time to build up those fans and, as you said, they are disinterested. They can unlike the page whenever they like.

Basically I use addmefast, youlikehits aqnd like exchange groups in facebook to increase my fan page like. But its take time to grow the community but buying traffic is bit costly for me.

You have to test anyway and then tweak any campaign so my advice is to roll something out, test it and then fine tune it until you know you are going to be making a decent sized profit at the end of it.

Hey man... the best way to get people genuinely 'liking' your page is to create an offer that's just too good to resist... it's got to meet their need, offer incredible value to what they are seeking, will most likely be free...and will cause them to want to take a 'social' action by liking... oh and it can't be a pitch... people can smell it a mile off.

"Like - Reveal" is a fantastic strategy.... you've got the offer they want... they 'like' your page... you 'reveal' the free offer in return - it's win/win!

Just think about what the words "fan" and "like" mean: how is paying some third party going to make other people really be your fan, or really like you? What's difficult to understand about this concept?

If you have to buy a friend, is it a real friend? I don't think so. It might be a real person, but it's certainly not someone who is even remotely interested in your site.

I think how ever you do it people can unlike your page. Personally using automated building software is good for the 1st 100 users in order to show an interest in the website. But past that it is pointless as it more better to just grow a return audience.

Stirred a debate, didn't I. Can't argue with the fact buying a "like" or "fan" makes them false. Was simply wondering about all those hyped up "10,000 REAL likes" ads and stuff. I too have heard about the companies lost budgets for Facebook likes. Still wondering if there is any real gain for buyers go for all those fiverr gigs and whatnot.

Doing promotions/contests is a strong way to build your fan base. I haven't tested this myself but I've been a target of this. People who want the product you are giving away are also interested in your niche. Don't waste your money on those gigs providing unreal fans, unless you are starting with zero.

Facebook has changed the rules and to run a contest you need to get your permission first - don't know the specifics, but I suppose it may greatly reduce the tactic. Facebook also removed the default tab option, so setting up a landing page is not as easy as it used to be.

The easiest way to get likes is to offer a prize to the winner of a contest,all they have to do is like your page/picture and the winner will be picked at random on such a date.My friend does this with her fashion site and the prizes are really cheap such as leggings or special designer tights and she gets massive interest,she runs the link on twitter too.Hope that helps

Purchased Facebook likes worth nothing most of the time, even if it comes from real people. Yes, you can purchase like from real/authentic users. In Facebook, there are some groups, who sell likes. This is their business. Even you will find the same in different micro workers where you will be paid for giving like. But theses likes do not work because who give their like even don't care in which they are clicking for.

you can buy REAL likes but they are not targetted unless you use facebook ads. Facebook ads can get expensive. it all depends upon what your product price is. If your selling cars then paying 50 cent a like is cheap. If your selling milk then 50 cent a like is not a good ROI

Yes you can buy "Real" facebook fans, which I guess you mean actual people, but no they won't be responsive because they probably liked your site for totally unrelated reasons. Targetted fans you can get by running ads for your site o facebook, provided you give users a compelling reason to be interested in you.

You could always run sweepstakes to get cheap likes. If you announce a giveaway of a product that's specifically tailored to your niche, only those interested in that product / niche would participate in the sweepstakes.

For example, one of our clients, is currently running a $30 giveaway and already got over 1,200 social engagements from users interested in gaming.

There ARE services that offer this. Real people. The problem is that they aren't probably interested in YOUR page per se. Most just click like because the service provider is offering some sort of incentive or unrelated premium.

Unless you are making money offering an FB Page population service and selling it to a 3rd party, this can have little value since the people LIKING YOU don't really like you. See what I'm getting at?

There is many problems with buying Facebook likes. As many have already mentioned, many offer untargetted likes from people liking a bunch of pages so they can like their own. Buying those types of likes is useless.

There is legit sellers out there that get "Niche Targeted" likes. That means people will like your page because they are interested in the topic, and they decided to follow you.

Just look around, and you might find a real seller out there. Getting real likes is very time consuming. There is people who specialized on doing all the dirty work for getting real targeted likes.

I bought 100 FB likes on fiverr, simply to kickstart the fanpage so it didn't look like a ghost town. They were real (as was advertised) - or at least have accounts that are active - but all are from India.
