Can you buy real facebook fans/likes?

Simple question. You can buy fb likes on fiverr, on WF, on plethora of places online. Some of them are outrageous claims like 10,000 likes in 24 hrs. Must be bots/fakes. Can actual real people can be bought from these vendors, or is it only through Facebook ads and the hard craft of driving traffic yourself? What is better for growing your fanbase, buying likes or buying traffic?

Alot of people will use a network called twiends or something similar, so yes the likes are real just that your audience might not be intrested in what you have to offer.

I'm aware of twiends and while they are free, it takes time to build up those fans and, as you said, they are disinterested. They can unlike the page whenever they like.

You can buy real likes, but buying targeted likes is tough, costly and is the real deal!

The whole point of social media is about connecting with people. If you want to create a successful FB fanpage, you must build rapport with these people, and they MUST like your page because they actually want to.

Think about it though, how could you possibly "buy" FB likes? You can advertise your page, but cannot force people to like it. Therefore, you cannot have a successful fan page by paying people to like it.

Here's a neat little trick that shows you how to get more fans. It's quick, simple and works very well with little effort...

It all depends on what you are trying to do. Sometimes seeding a page is good - as we all know if you have zero likes no one wants to be the first. Social proof allows you to build on the likes you potentially purchased. Whether they will buy or engage with you is a different story.

I agree with this way of thinking. I have bought FB likes to seed a page. When I went back to determine of the people who liked the page were even close to the demographic I was looking for it turned out I bought garbage.

There may be companies that can demographically target - but even then it is a paid service and most likely those folks could fall off over time.

Getting likes to your page is cheaper . If you really need a targeted likes to your fan page who are interested in your service , it will cost you really high.
You can use some techniques to get more targeted likes.
Use targeted keyword in your fan page. You may get some likes from ( might be not interested people ) . After that automatically you can see more likes daily ,which are targeted. It worked with thousands of our clients. Try this methods .
    And see the results.

One option, I suppose, could be to JV with someone (who's list may include people that are interested in your product) that you give MASSIVE VALUE to. In exchange, they would do a 'shout-out' on FB, which in turn would (hopefully) bring in the likes.

It's probably an old idea, but one that's worth considering. Just an idea.

There are plenty of places to purchase real fb likes, but if your purpose is to grow an avid fan base, this is not the best strategy for investment. Sure it might drive traffic your way; however, the hard work of driving natural interest to your site will pay off for you in the long run.

Not many paid likes will be real.. If you buy mass likes most of them will be by bots. You can try mTurk, real people are working there, so you will get real likes. But you can never know if those people will ever come back to your fanpage.

That sounds like a contradiction in terms to me. It's like: Can you pay people to love you?

Sure, maybe some people will like a page on Facebook for a dollar, but from there to them having any real value as fans is a huge step forward.

I purchased 1000 likes the other day from Fiverr. The reason was simple - real people are more likely to like your page if there are already people who liked it before. It's an ice breaker for many people. Anyway, I did receive 1000 fans, except they were all young hot girls from Arizona. When randomly checked a few accounts, they had no wall posts or any status updates at all. So, they may be real, but certainly inactive. And the fact that they all came from the same state, and that they all were the same gender, and that they all looked like models... well, let's just say that my page now looks some high profile pimp's page. Who would have thought that so many hot young girls from Arizona would like a page of a web design business ;-)

Considering you can buy LIKES for $5 and you can buy 125 Clicks for around $40 then both are well within your reach as long as your sales funnel is set up so you are guaranteed to make a profit at the end of your initial investment.

You have to test anyway and then tweak any campaign so my advice is to roll something out, test it and then fine tune it until you know you are going to be making a decent sized profit at the end of it.

Hope this helps in anyway my friend

    Have a great day!!!

Buying likes on facebook can also help. Like for example a real user of facebook saw your Fan page that you already have good numbers of likes. He will conclude that you can give good updates or source of "whatever your niche is" And also, if this fake account has a real friends, it will give exposure to your fan page once they like and share it..

But still, managing FB fan page is VERY TIME consuming. You just need to manage it well NOT only relying in buying likes.

I'm going to turn that question on its head. Have you ever been paid to "like" a page. If you were, how real would your like be? Answer that and you have your answer.

Real facebook likes, meaning the pages are of real people with real friends... Yes I've seen this type of business before. I also came accross of a job post before in an online freelancing site, they are buying facebook likes with these qualifications; 40+real friends and real people. With that type of qualifications they had to pay a bit bigger that what you would see in sites that offer this for 5bucks. Come to think of it targeting the interest of people who "liked" your page is where you should work on harder after gaining those likes. The ratio between forced "real likes" and genuinie "real likes" may not be that close. On the other hand while your posts may not mean anything to the people whom you paid to get their likes; you can still make use of the exposure and their "real" friends might get interested. In this sense it may actually drive traffic into your site. Remember to keep communicating with your followers, this way you might turn them into people who "really" like your page.

Hey man... the best way to get people genuinely 'liking' your page is to create an offer that's just too good to resist... it's got to meet their need, offer incredible value to what they are seeking, will most likely be free...and will cause them to want to take a 'social' action by liking... oh and it can't be a pitch... people can smell it a mile off.

"Like - Reveal" is a fantastic strategy.... you've got the offer they want... they 'like' your page... you 'reveal' the free offer in return - it's win/win!

What surprises me, to be honest, is how long the thread's lasting, given such a simple question.

The answer is "no": you can't buy real Facebook fans/likes.

Just think about what the words "fan" and "like" mean: how is paying some third party going to make other people really be your fan, or really like you? What you can buy is pretend fans/likes, not real ones. That's because they're incentivized. This is self-evident, just from the meanings of the words, surely? What's difficult to understand about this concept?

    • Facebook has admitted that about 50 million accounts are fake. Some people believe the number is higher.

But a BBC investigation recently revealed companies seem to be wasting large sums of money on FB ads to gain "likes" from Facebook members who have no real interest in their products.

Talk about social proof run amok.

Whether it's a Fiverr gig offering 20,000 "likes" or a Mumbai teenager "liking" your page because he's paid to do so, the result is the same: null. No brand engagement, no conversions. Totally pointless.

The continued devaluation of the power of a "like" has gotten FB advertisers up in arms. And Facebook's lack of transparency has pushed frustrated advertisers to the point they're taking their business elsewhere. GM is just the most prominent example.

Stirred a debate, didn't I. Can't argue with the fact buying a "like" or "fan" makes them false. Was simply wondering about all those hyped up "10,000 REAL likes" ads and stuff. I too have heard about the companies lost budgets for Facebook likes. Still wondering if there is any real gain for buyers go for all those fiverr gigs and whatnot.

Doing promotions/contests is a strong way to build your fan base. I haven't tested this myself but I've been a target of this. People who want the product you are giving away are also interested in your niche. Don't waste your money on those gigs providing unreal fans, unless you are starting with zero.

Facebook has changed the rules and to run a contest you need to get your permission first - don't know the specifics, but I suppose it may greatly reduce the tactic. Facebook also removed the default tab option, so setting up a landing page is not as easy as it used to be.

It's being done over and over with no problems. The thing is Facebook doesn't want the "spam" to happen on the wall of the page, you have to set up an app and probably some external system to support the contest. I'm not sure how it really works but to me it sounds like a good investment.

The easiest way to get likes is to offer a prize to the winner of a contest, all they have to do is like your page/picture and the winner will be picked at random on such a date.My friend does this with her fashion site and the prizes are really cheap such as leggings or special designer tights and she gets massive interest, she runs the link on twitter too.Hope that helps

Purchased Facebook likes worth nothing most of the time, even if it comes from real people. Yes, you can purchase like from real/authentic users. In Facebook, there are some groups, who sell likes. This is their business. Even you will find the same in different micro workers where you will be paid for giving like. But theses likes do not work because who give their like even don't care in which they are clicking for.

you can buy REAL likes but they are not targetted unless you use facebook ads. Facebook ads can get expensive. it all depends upon what your product price is. If your selling cars then paying 50 cent a like is cheap. If your selling milk then 50 cent a like is not a good ROI

Yes you can buy "Real" facebook fans, which I guess you mean actual people, but no they won't be responsive because they probably liked your site for totally unrelated reasons. Targetted fans you can get by running ads for your site o facebook, provided you give users a compelling reason to be interested in you.

You could always run sweepstakes to get cheap likes. If you announce a giveaway of a product that's specifically tailored to your niche, only those interested in that product / niche would participate in the sweepstakes.

For example, one of our clients, is currently running a $30 giveaway and already got over 1,200 social engagements from users interested in gaming.

There ARE services that offer this. Real people. The problem is that they aren't probably interested in YOUR page per se. Most just click like because the service provider is offering some sort of incentive or unrelated premium.

Unless you are making money offering an FB Page population service and selling it to a 3rd party, this can have little value since the people LIKING YOU don't really like you. See what I'm getting at?

There is many problems with buying Facebook likes. As many have already mentioned, many offer untargetted likes from people liking a bunch of pages so they can like their own. Buying those types of likes is useless.

There is legit sellers out there that get "Niche Targeted" likes. That means people will like your page because they are interested in the topic, and they decided to follow you.

Just look around, and you might find a real seller out there. Getting real likes is very time consuming. There is people who specialized on doing all the dirty work for getting real targeted likes.

How will the customer know? Other than the fact that the seller says the likes are "niche targeted' and delivered slower? Would paying AFTER the service has been done be the best way to avoid getting burned?

You can have 1,000 not targeted fans, and make a post, and have 0 response from your fans.

Or you can have 1,000 targeted fans, from people who chose to like your page because they were interested in it, and have 100 likes on your post, plus comments from people responding.

That's how you weed the good from the bad. If someone promises something they can't provide, luckily PayPal gives a dispute section, which you can do. Or you can even do a charge back on your card.

Once you find a seller, you can count that he will provide results, you'll grow your businesses faster.

In my opinion is better to have 100 niche targetted fans, than 1000 untargetted fans. The purpose of your 100 likes was just to make an apperance for real fans that might go into your page, which is not bad, but won't make you any real sales in the end.

Only those who are interested in your niche will help you.
