I just added an audio file to my wordpress blog using ImpactWebAudio by adding the javascript to my wordpress blog Divine Bible Verses but the problem is that, the player is working perfectly in the main page but isn't visible when I click the post. Please Help... Thanks Spencer Jones P.S: I am referring to the second post in my blog above... |

Hi Spencer I think it's because the address of your audio source is incorrect on the blog. That is easy to fix. Explanation In your main page the source is: src='sanyika/ImpactWebAudio.js' I presume that the sanyika directory is off your main blog directory. Your blog post is in a directory further down the tree, in: /blog/bible-money/christian-money-management-what-the-bible-says-about-money-bible-verses-on-money/ I think what is happening is that it is looking to find the sanyika directory in the same folder as your post Fix So I think you need to change the bit of code for the source to src='../../sanyika/ImpactWebAudio.js' or, if that doesn't work try the complete url, which would be: src='http://www.divineverses.com/blog/sanyika/ImpactWebAudio.js' I hope that works for you. So I put the full URL - rc='http://www.divineverses.com/blog/sanyika/ImpactWebAudio.js Now the same place again, works on main page, but not on the post. Is there any other way? Thanks & Regards Spencer Jones | |

I'm recreating the problem with a page of my own. I guess another solution would be to put the src lines back as they were and to put a copy of the sanyika folder in your /blog/bible-money/christian-money-management-what-the-bible-says-about-money-bible-verses-on-money/ directory Let me know how you get on Kate |

Is your Wordpress blog hosted by Wordpress? I have a Wordpress blog, but I host it myself so I can see the directory structure, using ftp to my hosting account. I'm not familiar with how blogs hosted by wordpress work and how much access you get. |

Oh I see what you mean. I would have thought that plan A would have worked in that case. I've got a few things I need to do. But I'll try to take another look in a couple of hours for you - if no-one else comes up with a solution in the meantime. I have got a Wordpress blog and Impact Audio, so I can play about. It is certainly something I will need to know for myself soon enough. It could be that javascript doesn't work in single posts, but that would be a real pain if that was true. Anyone else ... in the meantime? Any ideas? Kate |

Hi Spencer You don't have to use that software as it is a pretty hard way to add audio. Just add a plugin called One Pixel and follow the instructions. Here is a sample. Multimedia | The Internet Marketers Club Here is the plugin 1 Pixel Out Audio Player Wordpress plugin PM me if you need help. Quentin |
