The best way to generate traffic to your forum is a very active participation in other forums related to your niche. It will bring the first portion of targeted visitors / readers to your forum.

Actually you have already started generating traffic with Warrior Forum by placing the url of your website onedollarfeast (dot) com. in this thread, and I was the first to increase your traffic by visiting and checking it out. By the way, the forum design and layout look nice!

O.K From experience I gonna say that traffic is only one piece of the puzzle.
It is not difficult to get traffic by spreading news about your forum everywhere (posting articles to press release sites, doing guest posts on blogs related to your niche, going viral on Facebook,Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, buying ad spots and banners. etc.)

The most difficult part is CONTENT.

Your forum needs LOTS of top quality posts with interesting topics and useful information to encourage people to join and contribute.First of all, your forum is a community of people. And they need a reason to be a part of this community. If nothing turns them on here, they will move on to other place and never come back.

You can create and add content yourself by opening multiple accounts with different user names to start posting questions and answers (warning! don't fill your forum with spammy content). Or you can outsource this hard work by hiring professional posters and let them do this job for you.

So I just wanted to tell that it is NOT an overnight method. It requires consistent work and promotion.

I too just visited your forum and its looks great. However, one of the hardest parts is getting registered users to participate. When someone goes to your site in the beginning, they don't see any content so they don't join, therefore creating a vicious cycle.

Offer positions for global moderators to people. People like power. So if you offer 3 people mod positions on your forum then let them help you promote the site. Good luck.
